Where is Amboseli National Park?
Amboseli sits in southern Kenya along the Tanzanian border, approximately 240km southeast of Nairobi (about 4 hrs drive). The park covers 392 km² but forms part of a much larger Amboseli ecosystem that extends across surrounding community conservancies. The iconic views of Kilimanjaro (in Tanzania, just across the border) are visible on clear mornings and sometimes throughout the day.
